May 2015 The Dubbo Netball Association extends an invitation to you to attend our Rawson Homes All Age and Rep Carnival to be held on Sunday 24th May at the Nita McGrath Netball Complex (cnr Bligh and Macleay Streets. Dubbo) CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: 1. Entries close 19th May and must be accompanied by an entry fee of $33 per team. One cheque please to cover the total number of teams entering. 2. A team withdrawing after the draws are finalized will be fined $50.00. 3. A no show on carnival day will be fined $50.00. 4. Carnival will commence at 9.00am and teams are asked to report to control by 8.30am. 5. Each team must supply competent umpire, scorer, whistle and ball. Umpiring format is umpire your own. 6. All players must be registered as their age, as at 31st December 2015. 7. Players once registered with a team must not play with any other team during the day. 8. Matches will be conducted as per rules of NSWNA Ltd Carnival rules‐no injury time will be allowed during matches. 9. The following will not be allowed: taping of nails, wearing of jewellery, wearing of bike shorts. 10. Matches will start and end by a hooter and consist of 2 x 10 minutes halves with 1 minute change over. At half time players must change ends. Interchange rule will apply. 11. Any team failing to take the court within 2 minutes of the starting hooter will be deemed to have forfeited the game. 12. No disputes will be entered into. 13. The captain of the winning match is responsible for the prompt return of the score sheet to control. 14. Dubbo Netball Association Inc will not responsible for injuries or loss of property. 15. The carnival committee has the right to re‐grade any team. 16. A team trophy will be presented to winner and runners up in Rep Divisions. Individual trophies will be presented to winners and runners up in non‐rep divisions (maximum 12 per team). Count back for goals for and against will be used if teams are tied. 17. Canteen and BBQ facilities will be available on the day. 18. Please ensure a wet weather contact phone number is supplied. PLEASE NOTE: Due to potential risk to public safety and damage to infrastructure, Dubbo City Council has a ban on the use of tent pegs larger then 200mm in length and guide ropes. NOTE: All Representative teams must be noted and will play in a Rep Division or up a division. 19.Draws will be available for collection from 8am on the morning of the carnival. If practicable the draw will be on DNA website on Saturday 23rd May, however teams MUST report to Control on Sunday morning. WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU AT OUR CARNIVAL
