School News
1. THANK YOU: A big thank you to all those who helped bake, prep, serve, & cleanup for the graduation reception!
The reception went so smoothly and we couldn’t have done it without your help!
2. STUDENT GRADES: Elementary report cards were sent home this past Friday, May 29th. Grades for middle
school and high school will be e-mailed out on Friday, June 5th. If you have any questions, please e-mail Mike
Wilson: [email protected]. If you want a hard copy of your grades, please e-mail Robbyn Booker in
the front office: [email protected]
3. IMPORTANT REMINDER FOR 2015-16: As of August 2014, ECA has transitioned to using the English Standard
Version (ESV) of the Bible for all classes. Please remember that, starting next school year, all students will be
required to have their own ESV Bible for their Bible classes. Please note that elementary classes have their own
sets of ESV Student Bibles
4. SUMMER MATH HOMEWORK: Parents there will be math homework for students to be doing over the summer.
The purpose of this is to keep their skills fresh for next fall. It will be due the first day of classes in August.
5. ECA SWEATSHIRTS: We still have extra ECA sweatshirts both in black and grey for sale; and they are available
in all sizes including XS (kids) Small, Medium, Large, and Extra Large. They are 20 euros a piece. For more

6. ECA STAFFING NEEDS FOR SCHOOL YEAR 2015-2016: We are still searching for several staffing needs for
2015-2016. You can help by advertising the needs to your supporters and friends, or perhaps you are qualified to
help out part-time yourself! We are still looking for an Academic Principal, an IT Coordinator, a Secondary
English Teacher, a Secondary Bible Teacher, Secondary Science Teacher and a Secondary Math Teacher.

these needs.
7. SUMMER SCHOOL OFFICE HOURS: The school office will be closed Thursday & Friday June 4th & 5th. Then,
beginning Monday June 8th the school office will be open all summer on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from
9-1.
8. CAMP DATES: Middle School & High School camp will be Wednesday – Friday August 26th – 28th at Pinos
Reales near San Martin de Valdeiglesias.
9. TUITION INVOICES: Many families need to know the amount of their tuition bill in advance in order to raise the
needed funds or to advise their mission boards. The finance office will send out invoices for 2015-2016 school

WOULD YOU LIKE HELP WITH YOUR NEXT FURLOUGH VIDEO PRESENTATION OR PRAYER CARD
PHOTOS? Stephen Dysert is an ECA grad now studying cinematography and photography. He wants to use his
career to help missionaries improve their media. If you would like new family pictures or want to create a video to
show your supporters, contact [email protected] or look him up on Facebook. He will be living in Torrejon de
Ardoz this summer and can be reached by calling 91 656 8255 or 608799157. If you are satisfied with his work,
any donations you can give will go towards his school bill or towards improving his camera gear.

LARSONS SELLING FURNITURE: The Larsons are selling a few pieces of furniture: Solid wood desk (black) –
40 euros, one children’s desk (also lback & white) -20 euros, two beds: one 90 x 190 plus frame -40 euros for set
(hardly used) & one nice quality mattress & frame from Ikea, matrimonio (large 150x190) -125 euros. One white
Ikea chair -25 euros. Contact [email protected]. They are looking to sell everything before June 15th.

MK CAMPS IN CROATIA: These camps give missionary kids the opportunity to connect with other MKs in a fun,
adventurous, and spiritually significant environment. There are MK camps June 18 – 24 and June 27 – July 3.

HOUSE TO RENT: Casa adosada in calle Tomillo, Camarma de Esteruelas, 190m2, 60 m2 de terreno. It´s a

Saturday, June 6th for the province of Madrid and Saturday, June 13th for the country of Spain. Details can be

APARTMENT FOR RENT RIGHT ON THE BEACH! It is located in La Manga Del Mar Menor of Murcia.
Available through the year, except from July 5 to August 31. There are 4 single beds (in the living room) and 1
