Our “Spotlight of the Quarter” goes to an individual, or a group, in our community that has done
something above and beyond to bring awareness and/or raise money to the Support Our
Schools Campaign. This quarter we are shining the spotlight on our Charter School support
staff (Ilene Kornblum, Berta Cuevas, Lola Pitts, Pat Bryant, Leesa Romero, Robyn Battle, Carol
Busk, Carmen Rodriguez, Marisel Delgado, Grace Castillo, Carol Welcher, Diana Perez, Laura
Clahane, Liz Mesa, and Wanda Balaster) for their tremendous cooperation. In addition to their
duties, these ladies take the time out to assist us weekly, if not daily, with all of our fundraising
events. From coordinating and scheduling some of our events, to counting all the revenue
collected, we applaud the efforts of these ladies for their work and for going the extra mile for
the entire charter school family and making it a more efficient one. Thank you for your patience,
and for your continued hard work and commitment to our students. With your leadership, we
can give our students the education we know they deserve.
