category. Of those men, 619,264 went
to NationalPost.com, where they sifted
through 7 million pages. In total,

about 81,000 daily visitors, up 23%
versus the year prior.

viewers in June 2011. The site—in which
visitors can watch TV programming such as
Grey’s Anatomy and So You Think You Can
Dance Canada—attracts more females (57%
versus 43% males, respectively). In June
2011, the average female viewed 38.9 videos
and spent over two hours watching them. In
contrast, the average male viewed 12.9 videos
and spent over an hour watching them.

increased the number of female visitors
to its website (Slice.ca) by 26% over the
comparable period a year ago. In July
2011, 80,256 women visited the site,
versus 63,628 a year ago. (Men only accounted for 33% of visitors.) Of its female
visitors, 42.5% are between the ages of 25
and 54. These same female visitors live in
households that are 107% more likely to
have four people.

Microsoft had more than 24 million unique visitors to its
portal in July 2011. MSN Local Edition Weather, which is
part of Microsoft Sites, increased by 19,632 unique visitors
to 243,321, versus the year prior.
