Improvements
Project Description
Modify the Control Room’s electrical panels by covering it
with sliding glass doors, lowering the ceiling, lights and
fire sprinklers, relocating an existing fire alarm panel and
once completed, painting it. Additionally, a dividing
sliding panel will be installed between the Control Room
and Conference Room.
Replace existing copper piping at DCT Primary Tanks.
Pipes are being used for 120 psi HPE water for
spraying/wash down of primary tanks. Pipe runs are in
the headspace underneath the tank covers.
Upgrade the gate control system to include
SCADA/telemetry so that the Washington tide gates may
be remotely operated from the Venice Pumping Plant.
This project requires the removal and replacement of the
existing concrete vault, sump pump, discharge line and all
appurtenances. The vault shall have an additional City
approved liner to resist the corrosive effect of the
condensate.
Install a new air conditioning system in the existing
electrical building at Donald C. Tillman Water
Reclamation Plant (DCTWRP).
Trailer improvements that will last 5 to 7 years. Full scope
to be determined soon.
