Apply Now for Regional Center of the East Bay’s
Self-Determination Advisory Committee!
Regional Center of the East Bay (RCEB), in coordination with
the State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD),
is forming a local volunteer Advisory Committee to provide
oversight of the implementation of Self-Determination
in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties.
In accordance with Senate Bill 468, the Advisory Committee
will help facilitate the sharing of best practices and training
materials, review the development and ongoing progress of the
Self-Determination program and make recommendations for
improvement of the Self-Determination program to RCEB and/or
the Department of Developmental Services. Individuals with
developmental disabilities, family members, other advocates
and community members are encouraged to apply.
