FROM THE PASTOR: AJ’s Update Welcome New Members — C-3 Class By Baptism: By Letter: Mitchell Kilgore & Letisse Fuller 104 Montague Dr. Valerie S. Hesse 123 Squires Creek Simpsonville, 29681 This morning we welcome Mitchell Kilgore, Letisse Fuller, and Valerie Hesse to our fellowship of believers. They have been visiting Fountain Inn First Baptist Church for several weeks, and last Sunday evening they chose to become members of our church through the C3 class. Our next C3 class will be offered towards the end of summer, so I hope you will consider checking it out. In C3, we explain what church membership is and why it is important. We also review what an individual can expect when they join a church and what is expected of them. As a part of the community of believers at Fountain Inn FBC, we pledge to love God, other believers, and the world that desperately needs Him. Join me in making Mitch, Letisse, and Valerie feel welcome. I promise to pray for and care for them as their brother in Christ. Will you do the same? Our church Co-Ed Adult Softball Team will play games Tuesday and Thursday nights this summer at City Park in Fountain Inn from June-early August. If you are interested in playing, the fee is $40. Please email AJ no later than May 31 if you are interested. Not many times am I left speechless but after last Wednesday evening, I have been in awe of all the outpouring love and support from my church family. I thank each and everyone of you for all your kind words, sweet cards, gifts, treats, fellowship, hugs, love and encouragement. Even for the ones who wanted to be there and couldn’t, thank you, too. I consider you all my family and I am thankful to be surrounded by awesome people!! Let's continue to "spur" one another on like we have been doing and not give up meeting together. (Don’t you just love Hebrews?) I give thanks to God for every remembrance of you! Let us all be thankful and remember that NOTHING can separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:39). Jesus reminds us of that in John 10 and John 16. He has come to give us life more abundantly and we need to have peace--because HE has overcome the world. Love you Church Family! Let's continue to persevere!!
