4th Tuesday of Each Month. J.O.Y. Fellowship
Luncheon (Adults 55+) meets at First Baptist
Church for a hymn sing, a delicious full course
dinner, a surprise draw for door prizes, and a
devotional given by Chaplain Bud Sargeant of
the Bowden Pen. Our business speaker will be
from Sunrise Encore – Retirement & Assisted
Living Facility. There will be a music
presentation by the Men’s Quartet and Gordon
Forbes will lead Hymn Sing. Next luncheon
date is Tuesday, April 28th at 11:30AM. Cost
is $8.00 per person.
International Dinner Group
Group Members will be cooking ethnic food
and deserts with a Dutch theme. This Dutch
Dinner will be open to the first 40 people
signed up in advance. We hope to see you at
the next one – Friday, May 1 at 6:30PM.

Help the Mountain View Gideon’s share the
Good News locally, in Canada and worldwide.
You are invited to an afternoon of Gideon news
with homemade soup & dessert. This precedes
the Hymn Sing and will be held in the
Fellowship hall at 4pm on Sunday, May 3rd.
Grad Recognition
If you, or someone you know is graduating
from a program (high school, post-secondary,
technical, trade, etc...) this year, please sign
up on the Graduating Students list at the
Welcome Centre. If you have any questions

Household Furniture Needed:
Used furniture, 4 beds (1 Queen and 3 twin
beds), an upright freezer, dressers, night
tables, small carpet and lamps are needed. If
you have such items that you no longer need
and wish to donate. Please contact Pastor
Norm or contact the Church Office during
office hours.
Billets Needed
Olds High School is hosting a leadership
conference and is in desperate need of billets.
For an information packet please go to the
Welcome Centre. Also if you can provide a tray
of rice krispy squares or puff wheat squares
individually wrapped that would be
