The Company
FRWA was established in 2010 as a regional subsidiary of its Member Councils Alexandrina Council,
City of Victor Harbor, Kangaroo Island Council and District Council of Yankalilla to manage their
waste and recycling operations. These Councils are working together to achieve sustainable waste
and resource management.
The Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager Safety, Contracts and Operations you will be responsible for the
timely, efficient and safe provision of kerbside bin collections (including roster and supervision of 10
staff), post collection transport and associated administrative and financial processes.
Requirements in Experience, Skills and Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience in a similar role is essential.
We are looking for a person with a strong ability to decisively resolve problems, good verbal and
written communication skills to direct employees, liaise with management, and strong interpersonal
skills to motivate and instruct employees in the company.
Qualifications in logistics management in combination with business administration and
procurement are highly desirable.
A current SA HR Driver’s Licence is essential, front end loader and forklift tickets are a distinct
advantage.
