Congratulations to all of these students!
Knowledge Bowl members congratulations on a job well done last week at the state
tournament. FMHS placed 4th in the 5A division and 6th in the entire state (out of 57 schools
that qualified for state)!!!

It was certainly a busy weekend for all FMHS activities and especially the music
department. We had 11 groups perform Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Colorado West
Music Festival. We thank you for your support and patience with students missing class. Below

Jazz 2- Excellent
Jazz 1- Superior- Outstanding 5A Jazz Band of the Festival
On top of all of that- Last Monday the Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble performed at the
Colorado Band Masters Association’s State concert Band festival- one of 6 high schools to send
2 bands to the festival. They took 32 bands to the festival out of 84 across the state. Both bands
earned an “Excellent” rating.
