Footfall Counter
People Counter for Retail Chains
Footfall counter is a compact and easy-to-install network camera. Discreet and non-invasive designed specifically
for retail stores, addressing the market’s needs for a cost effective people counter to monitor the IN and OUT
traffic. Camera will be mounted on the ceiling of the entrance, looking perpendicular down to count people
passing by.
Footfall Counter can measure 4 metrics with Wi-Fi
tracking features:
1. Window conversion rate
Measure if any promotional campaign or shop
window display has driven traffic.
2. Returning Customer tracker
We could track whether they are the returning
customer since every customer would have
their unique identifier by using smartphone.
3. Dwell Time
Duration the customers stay in the stores.
4. Video Counting
Counting Ins and outs,(measure benchmark
store performance, find out if bad performing
stores were due to low footfall or bad sales
effort, measure marketing response, find out
traffic pattern and trend, better staff planning.

Super Wide Angle Lens
A wide angle lens is incorporated in the camera. With 104°
angle of view, it can provide the full coverage of most
double door entrance, covering the door width up to 12
meters when it is mounted on the middle of doorway; no
camera tilting is required onsite.
One Cable Installation
Camera is powered using Power over Ethernet and it is
designed for quick and easy installation. Only one network
cable for power supply and data transmission purpose is
required in the installation process. Any handyman or store
fitters will be able to install it.
Independent Unit with
Powerful Chipset
A mini computer system is embedded in the camera. It can
do the counting itself, which does all the complicated video
analytics algorithms and transmit traffic data to the central
server without the need of a dedicated PC. Counting will not
be interrupted even the Internet is down. Camera can be
connected directly to an IP network through a network cable.
