Nepal – Due to the recent earthquake in Nepal, our local Nepalese community is having a fundraiser to help
the families who lost their homes. There is a box in the office for anyone who wants to donate. Find eon
campus for more information.
FRIDAY – This Friday (5/1) the Buena after-school bus will be here at 3:00pm. So don’t wonder off!!!!
Tuesday to Friday -the Media Center will not be open before school as we are a testing center. Sorry for
the inconvenience.

Annual Foothill Art Show – The Annual Foothill Art Show is this Friday, 5/1 from 5:00 – 8:00pm. Food,
auction, and live music. Everyone is welcome!
Barnes and Noble – Book Fair to benefit FTHS May 1 and 2 at Barnes and Noble— our Media Center gets
15% of proceeds when you mention FTHS at checkout! Please help us get more books!

Renaissance List - The Renaissance list for Quarter 4 is printed and posted in D108.
Please see or e-mail Captain by lunch on Wednesday if there are errors. Ren Cards will be printed On
Wednesday afternoon.
Juniors and Seniors – If you were on Renaissance for 3RD QUARTER and made the 4th quarter Ren
List….YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE YOUR ID CARD STAMPED FOR 4TH QUARTER off campus. However
if you are a newcomer this 4th quarter you will need to put your ID Card in the white basket in the front office to
be stamped RED!
FTHS Boys Basketball – All returning players or boys considering playing basketball next year, please
come to a meeting in Unchangco’s room I-107 at lunch on Thursday, April 30.
Attention All Seniors! Grad nite is coming. Pick up your permission slip so that you can buy your tickets
early. Tickets are now on sale in the student store. The cost is: Now through May 8th $35.00 each
May 11 through June 8th $40.00 each. It will be $50 at the door!!!!
MEDIA CENTER/COMMUNITY SERVICE
Seaside National BMX Competition- Ventura will host the 2015 Seaside National BMX
Competition. They need friendly, responsible volunteers to assist with parking. They will have shifts to fill from
Thursday, April 30 to Sunday, May 3rd. You must be 18 years of age. If interested, please have them contact

Are You 18 Year Old? – Are you graduating in June? The United Postal Service is looking for part-time help
in several positions that could possibly lead to a full-time job. Opportunities for advancement and excellent

Citrus Glen Carnival - On May 8th is looking for volunteers for their annual school carnival. They will have
sign-ups for Game Booths, Face Painting, Hair Spray and Cake Walk. Hours will be between 4pm to 8pm. To

Poinsettia - Is looking for responsible high schools to tutor kids in their after school homework club. They

E.P. Foster Library - Is looking for Tech savvy volunteers to help people learn about today’s
technology. This is a regular event which is the third Saturday of the month 10:00 am. – 12 p.m. If interested
