ROB DAVIS PRESENTS TEDx TALK FAMILY TO MOVE TO CALIFORNIA Rob Davis, Vice‐President and Editor of the Flashpaper, and longtime ac‐
tive member of The Fort Worth Magicians Club, recently present a TEDx talk at Clark University. Titled “The Magic of Bi‐Directional Care,” his video can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sipJ6JZp6FA Rob has been in healthcare for 17 years and is a published author in the American Journal of Nursing with a featured article entitled "The Big Chill: Accidental Hypothermia." He is also working on another article called "Off the Deep End: Decompression Sickness." Rob is not your ordinary nurse. He moonlights as a comedy magician, has studied at the world‐famous McBride Mystery and Magic School, and has been a regular cast member at The Open Stage cabaret show. Rob blends laughter and magic not only for his patients, but also to health‐
care professionals with topics ranging from the philosophical to the practi‐
cal. Unfortunately for The Fort Worth Magicians Club, Rob’s wife recently received her doctorate degree and has taken work in California. Rob and his family will be moving to California later this month. His expertise, wit, and commitment to the magical arts will certainly be missed in the metroplex magic community.
