Gembrook Craft Group Spin-In
Sunday 24 and Monday 25 May at the Gembrook Community Centre.
On Monday 25 May Ursula helped out at the
Spin-In and took with her the Friends of Kurth
Kiln portable display.
The
Stalls the holders had setup looked impressive.

Soon the hall was filled with ladies (and a couple of men), all busily spinning or doing
some kind of handcraft, and enjoying each others company.
During the day the
talented craft
people held
various
demonstrations, in
basket weaving
and creating little
animals from felt.
Winners of the raffle could choose from many beautiful prizes, and
door prizes were called out throughout the day.
It was lovely to hear participants say ?I had a wonderful day, it is
such a pleasure to be with like minded people”.
