Tactical Emergency Medical Services
April 13th – 16th, 2015
The Livingston Tennessee, Police Department will present a 4-day Tactical Emergency Medical Services course On
April 13 -16, 2015. The course will be instructed by Front Range Training & Consulting.

Tactical Emergency Medical Services TEMS (LEM-001): This course is designed to integrate the EMS professional
into the tactical environment so they can provide “good medicine in a bad place”. Using Tactical Combat Casualty Care
principles as a core, the course teaches how to apply medicine in a tactical environment. Topics include: Tactical medical
Planning, Medical Threat Assessment, Extraction Techniques, Blast Injuries, MAB and RAM, and others. An introduction
to Tactical Entries, and a firearms familiarization are included in the course. Students will need to bring: BDU uniform,
tactical armor or vest, helmet, eye and ear pro, handgun and duty gear, 500 rounds of ammunition for handgun, tactical
medical kit. Course tuition is $700 per student. Discounts are available for multiple registrations (3 or more from 1 agency).
