This is the second RAP for FWT+DP Inc, a continuation of our commitment to building and
exploring new approaches to working as an organisation toward reconciliation. It has been
developed as an act of best intention and commitment to the process of reconciliation.
It aims to identify and address specific practices and procedures where FWT+DP can improve
in the areas of recognition, respect and access to service provision for Aboriginal and Torres
Strait Islander community sector workers, families and communities.
FWT+DP aims to provide the community sector across the Western Sydney region with access
to the most current research, innovative programs, and topical issues as relevant for
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities.
FWT+DP is committed to exploring and piloting new learning opportunities and approaches to
providing culturally appropriate, relevant and respectful service / program delivery.
FWT+DP is committed to promoting and supporting organisations and individual workers
across the community sector to assist them to build their capacity to achieve this work
effectively.
Our office is located on the land of the Darug people. FWT+DP acknowledge with respect
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional custodians of this land. We pay respect to all
Aboriginal Elders, past and present, and to the children of today who are the Elders of tomorrow.
