Join the organizers of Harriman Institute’s 2014-15 Core Project, Learning from Transition: from
the Local to the Global, for an open forum on “Financial Globalization and Transitions.”
A distinguished panel of experts, including the world’s leading scholars and practitioners will
explore the consequences of financial globalization for transition economies in Eastern Europe
and around the world.
The forum is part of this year’s Core Project, which aims to unpack assumptions about the path
of political, social and economic reforms in the region by critically examining the conditions for
scalability and portability of institutions. The Core Project is co-directed by Katharina Pistor
and David Stark.
