Dear Pewaukee Friends,
ALS or Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a disease that attacks the
muscles. Today, about 30,000 people are diagnosed with ALS.
Trickett Wendler, a mom of 3 children in the Pewaukee
District, recently passed away from this disease.

Students at Horizon School (Pewaukee School District) are
holding a fundraiser for ALS On Saturday, May 30th from
9:30 until 2:00. There will be arts & crafts, games, raffle
items, henna art, basketball contest, and baked goods/pizza
(for sale) and the big event - A SCAVENGER HUNT through
the Village of Pewaukee to search for clues about ALS.
To join us in contributing to the cause of fighting ALS, FLIP THIS
PAPER OVER for the registration information. We would appreciate
it if you told your friends and brought a group of people with you to
this fundraiser!!

1) Registration starts at 9:30 am on Saturday on May 30 at HORIZON
ELEMENTARY at 458 Lake Street, Pewaukee
2) Start time for teams, any time between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm
3) Baked Goods/Desserts available for sale from 9:30 until 2:00
4) Pizza slices available for sale starting at 11:00 and ending at 1:00 pm
5) Games, Arts & Crafts, and Raffles running from 10:00 to 2:00
Cost: Adults (18 & up): $12
Children: $10
