Beginner, Novice and Primary registration at 8:30am.
Competition starts at 9:00am with the Fling.
Intermediate and Premier registration is at 11:30pam.
Dancers should be prepared to start at 12:30pm with the Fling.

Entries in excess of 100, or received after May 3, 2015, only accepted at organizer’s discretion.

Age groups will be determined by ScotDance PEI prior to the competition to ensure a fair distribution of dancers in
each group. ScotDance PEI reserves the right to combine age groups.
Medals are awarded to a maximum of six places. Trophy points computed to number of medals awarded.

RULES & GUIDELINES:
Competition will be run according to the Rules & Regulations of the SOBHD and ScotDance Canada.
No refunds for accepted entries.
No new entries will be accepted on the day of the event.
Age categories will be established based on entries received. Age is taken as of day of competition.
Competitors must report to the marshalling area when called. All dancers must be in full dress to receive awards.
Judge’s decision is final. There will be no access to the judge’s sheets, nor any communication with the judge.
Any protest must be lodged, in writing, within 48 hours of the event accompanied by a $30.00 fee. Fee refunded if protest is
upheld.
Dancers arriving without a valid SOBHD card will be charged $ 5.00 non-refundable fee. Awards will be withheld until a valid
card is produced. Electronic copies of cards will not be accepted.
Medals will be presented in each age category. High Aggregate awards will be presented in each age group, except Primary.
High aggregate awards are based on all dances. Primary dancers will receive participation awards.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY, WAIVER OF CLAIMS AND INDEMNITY AGREEMEN T
ScotDance PEI (the “Organizers”) reserve the right to cancel the “Event”, or any part thereof, at any time if the Organizers
deem such cancellation to be necessary due to events beyond its control, or should it become necessary to cancel the Event at
the Organizers’ sole discretion (the “Cancellation”). The Organizers shall not be responsible to any purchaser and/or attendees
for any direct or indirect financial loss caused as a result of the Cancellation including, but not limited to, airfare, hotel
deposits, entry fees, and tickets. The purchaser and/or attendees agree to indemnify and save harmless the Organizers from all
claims arising from the Cancellation.
In consideration of your accepting this entry - I, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and
all rights and claims for damages I may have against ScotDance PEI, or the organizing committee of the Event, for any/all
injuries suffered by me, or any member of my family or group at any/all events to be held on May 16 or 17, 2015. I also agree I
have read and agree with the Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims and Indemnity Agreement.
By proceeding with this registration, I agree that - I am aware that participating in the Event involves the potential for risks,
dangers, and hazards including but not limited to: physical and other injuries and losses to me and/or my child in the course of
dance competition or at all and the potential for unauthorized photographs and video and other footage to be taken of me
and/or my child. In consideration of ScotDance PEI, its directors and volunteers, and the organizers of the Event (the
“RELEASEES”) agreeing to my and/or my child’s participation in the Games and for other good and valuable consideration, I
agree TO WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS that I or my child have or may have in the future against the RELEASEES, AND TO
RELEASE THE RELEASEES from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury or expense, including death, and including any
loss that may arise from unauthorized photographing or taking of video or other footage of either me and/or my child. I also
agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any loss, damage, injury or expense, including legal costs, that they
may incur due to my child’s participation in this activity, whether caused by the negligence of Releasees or otherwise, and
whether caused to my child or otherwise. I specifically consent to public release of the following information:
