Congratulations to Neil and Rebecca on the birth of their
daughter – Grace Elizabeth Rudbeck born at 20 to 12 on
Wednedsday 29 April weighing 6lb 2 oz. - I am sure all
three would value prayer at this time.
Betty is speaking at Botesdale on Thursday 7 May and
would appreciate prayer.
Coffee Night on Tuesday 12 May – History of the Town
Crier - leaflets are in the foyer for you to collect and
distribute to friends and neighbours. Thetford's Town
Crier will be coming to share about the history of the
Town Crier and his own modern-day experiences in the
role. This event is open to men and women.
If you would like to give towards the Nepal Earthquake
Disaster Fund there is a box in the foyer and it will remain
there for a couple of weeks to give everyone an
opportunity to give if they wish to. This money will be
divided between Pastor Tej and Anandaban. The offering
bags on Sunday morning will be for HSC general fund.
On Monday 11th May we are planning to pack up some
goods for Amanda Kirk, so if anyone could spare a few
hours or even an hour to help, that would be great. We
aim to start at Paula's house at 10.30am.

their trips made in past years to Nepal, they have asked
for prayer as this will be difficult for them in view of the
current situation in Nepal.
Missionary Offering on 17 May is for Richard &
Pam Harknett in Peru
If you are a UK taxpayer every gift to the church could be increased by 25% at no cost to you. We are very grateful that so
many of us already give regularly and have signed a Gift Aid declaration. As we move forward and take on extra financial
responsibility we would encourage everyone who is able to prayerfully consider doing this. We do appreciate not everyone
can do this and to encourage us all, due to changes in the Gift Aid rules we are now able to claim Gift Aid on the monies
put into the collection bags irrespective of who gave it. If you would like details of regular giving and/ or a Gift Aid form
please see Pam or Lyn. Thank you for all your support, we do know and appreciate how sacrificially many give.
Lisa Whitehead is arranging outings once a month to local interesting venues, these outings are for those who live alone
and would appreciate the outing and the company. If you have friends or neighbours (who are also on their own) who you
would like to bring please speak to Lisa. The dates for the next outing is 19 May. For more details please speak to Lisa.
