 April, 2015 Hello Everyone, Summer is just around the corner and preparations are under way to ensure the success of the 21st Annual Hospice Visions Golf Tournament. The “Flo Slatter Memorial” will be held at Clear Lake Country Club on August 15, 2015. Hospice Visions, Inc. has benefited from your generous contributions in the past. Countless lives have been touched because of your support. As our community’s population grows older, the opportunity to help many more of those in need in Southern Idaho is at your fingertips. “Facing a loved one’s death is a challenge… my wife had terminal cancer. She was told that she only had three to
four months to live… in our case, we did not have insurance… no one wants to die alone, in pain, suffering from
their illness, and with no hope…it can be a time of great stress…with Hospice Visions leading the way we were able
to give her the care she needed, both physically and mentally... at the end a Hospice Visions nurse was present
which was very important for all of us… you cannot put a price on this…I will always be grateful” MP
Many of our patients have similar stories. You or your company can participate at various giving levels. On the back is a sponsorship form that explains the levels in more detail. Sponsors receive a wide range of benefits depending on level of contribution, including the opportunity to enjoy the day for a worthy cause with family and friends. All proceeds from the tournament benefit Hospice Vision’s patients. Hospice Visions is the only local, freestanding, nonprofit hospice in the Magic Valley. It will enable us to assist with medications and treatments for patients who are uninsured or underinsured. Care is provided without regard for ability to pay. No one is turned away. We are here to help families in our community who are faced with a life-­‐limiting illness. This fiscal year Hospice Visions, Inc. will spend more than $50,000.00 in meeting the needs of our community. The funds raised will allow us to continue providing quality, compassionate, and end-­‐of-­‐life care to individuals and their families, who would otherwise experience unneeded burdens at a very difficult time in their lives.
