Dear House of God District Superintendents, State Superintendents, Pastors, Members and Ushers,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Praying that this letter finds you well and strengthened in the
Lord God of our salvation. Looking forward to seeing you all in Jacksonville, Florida!
Let me take this opportunity to first thank each usher that lent your services during the National meetings since the 2014
Convocation. I was not able to attend this past Women’s Conference, so I thank Deacon James Brown and the ushers
that did serve during that meeting. We realize that this is a voluntary service and we could not do it without you.
As we approach July 2015, I am praying that we have a successful year and a lot of participation on the National Usher
Board for the 2015 House of God National Convocation. I am humbly requesting that all ushers be willing to lend their
services to this year’s Convocation. I am requesting each District Supt., State Supt., and Pastor to encourage their Usher
Board Presidents to lend their services to National meetings. I am also requesting every Usher Board President to
encourage their ushers to lend their services to the National meetings. To all of those who desire to serve, I encourage
you to talk to your local Usher Board President to see if this would be a good position for you, and if so, we would
welcome your participation during this year’s Convocation. As always, we desire to give God what He deserves, which is
our best, and we would like to represent our National church well. Therefore, as we plan for this year’s Convocation, and
all of the activities associated with it, please look to hear from me by letters to the churches and/or internet postings
pertaining to scheduling, uniforms and all other information having to do with the Usher Board.



Important information pending:
Scheduling:
As we receive more information regarding the service times we will begin scheduling
accordingly.
Uniforms:
The main colors for the uniforms are white and sky/baby blue as always. However, there
has been strong interest in all ushers being in the same uniform or as close to possible as the same uniform
at least during Friday night, Sabbath day and ordination services. To accomplish this, we will try to make it
as convenient and economical as possible for all ushers who can to participate. More information to follow
very soon.
If you have any special interests or ideas that will help the ushers during this year’s Convocation, please feel free
to contact us.
Again, as you make your plans for the 2015 House of God National Convocation, please remember the Usher Board
needs YOU. So, please frequent the House of God website and be attentive to letters that will be sent to the churches
regarding planning and scheduling for the ushers.
