General Information
Students interested in summer school housing should request a contract from
University Housing by email at [email protected] or by calling (479) 575-3951. Current
residents may pick up a summer contract at the University Housing Office.
Complete the contract and return it to Housing as soon as possible because space
is reserved on a first come, first served basis. Students attending summer school 2015 will be
assigned to the Northwest Quad (NWQ).
Students must be enrolled and attending at least three (3) hours for credit at the University
of Arkansas in the summer session for which they have contracted. After a student checks
in or uses their meal plan the contract cannot be terminated unless the student withdraws
from the University. The contract duration is for the complete summer session selected by the
student as indicated on the completed contract.
The Northwest Quad consists primarily of suites with four individual bedrooms, two
bathrooms, and a shared common space per suite. Each bedroom has cable and network
connections. The common room has cable and network connections. There is one locking
closet per bedroom, with each bedroom and closet combination having its own unique key.
Residence hall spaces are available to all students regardless of race, color, religion or

the Center for Educational Access (CEA) at (479) 575-3104 and set up an appointment to meet
with them. We cannot make special accommodations until we receive a formal request from
the CEA Office.
Students should bring their own pillows, pillowcases, sheets, blankets and towels. “Coin
free” laundry is available, allowing summer school students to use the laundry equipment
without using coins or Razorbuck$.
Students in summer housing are required to adhere to policies described in the 20142015 Student Handbook and 2014-2015 University Housing Residence Hall Handbook.
Storage: Current residence hall students who contract for summer school housing and
can provide proof of household or renter’s insurance may store items by contacting the
NWQ secretary, (479) 718-7802, Monday – Friday, during regular business hours. Items may
be placed in storage at NWQ on May 6 and 7, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by appointment only.
