GRAPHIC BELOW FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON DROP OFFS AND PARKING. LINE UP WILL TAKE PLACE ON
THE BACK SIDE OF THE CHURCH AND DROP OFF WILL BE LOCATED AT THE BOTTOM LEVEL PARKING LOT. THRU TRAFFIC IS ONLY ALLOWED FOR DROP OFFS ON THE FRONT SIDE OF THE CHURCH.

All registrants must read and sign this waiver before entering:
I know that eating large amounts of Hot Dogs is potentially hazardous and uncomfortable activity. I should
not enter and eat unless I am medically capable and properly trained. I agree to provide the contest organizers with my “Hot Dog Eating Name.” I realize that should I fail to provide such name, one shall be provided
to me by the contest officials, which may not be as flattering as one I would have given myself. I also realize
that this is in good fun, and possibly in bad taste, but I agree to be a good sport. I agree to abide by any decision in the contest officials and all of the contest rules. I assume all risks associated with eating in this type
of event including but not limited to: indigestion, that stuffed feeling, contact with other contestants, and a
general dislike for Hot Dogs after I am done, and all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having
read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of you accepting my entry, I, for myself and
anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the City of Hurricane, Contest Officials, Contest Organizers, Sponsors, their representatives and their successors from all claims of liabilities of any kind arising
out of my participation in this event.
Decision of the official Judge will be FINAL.

HOT DOG EATING CONTEST
7:30 p.m.
Rules
Contestants have five (5) minutes to eat as many hot dogs and buns as they can
Contestants may drink water provided for them from sealed water bottles
If you vomit, you are out unless it all goes back in
When time is called at the end of five minutes, you must stop and then you will
have the opportunity to finish what is in your mouth (you will have 30
seconds to do this)
Grand Prize: $500
First Runner Up: $250
Second Runner Up: $100
