Peter is a graduate of the University of the Witwatersrand (Johannesburg, South Africa). After receiving his
Honours Degree, with distinction, he qualified as a Prosthodontist, with distinction, in 1988 from the
University of Pretoria (South Africa), where he received both Academic Honours and the Dean’s Award for
Academic Distinction.
His passion in prosthodontics is the restoration of facial and smile esthetics, utilising advanced digital CBCT,
CAD/CAM technology, all ceramic restorations and implantology, topics in which he has lectured extensively
both nationally and internationally. Peter is a certified trainer with the International Society of Computerised
Dentistry.
Together with his treating team, Peter won 3rd place in the International Creative Circle Awards Program for
the Creation of Beauty and Esthetics in Las Vegas (USA) in June 2005. This was followed in May 2007 (Las
Vegas USA) by their treating team placing 2nd and 1st place in this same prestigious international event.
Peter was a member of the Global Pre-Launch Team for the NobelBiocare CT Guided Surgical and
Prosthodontic concept, a treatment modality in which he continues to provide advanced prosthodontic
training. He has been awarded special recognition by for his dedication, professionalism and high quality
dental work in the International NobelEsthetics Publication. Currently, his All-Ceramic Treatment is shown in
Europe, China, Australia, South America and the United States of America.
Registered as a specialist member of the General Dental Council (UK), the South African Dental Association,
the Academy of Prosthodontics of South Africa, the International College of Prosthodontists and the Academy
of Osseointergration, Peter is in full-time specialist private practice in Sandton, Johannesburg, changing the
world one smile at a time.
