Rehearsal Day Instructions May 26-‐28 • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your rehearsal time DRESSED and ready to dance/tumble. Please bring BOTH ballet and tap shoes in a BAG so they don’t get lost. Please label everything! Normal class attire acceptable, or comfortable clothing that allows for movement. DO NOT ARRIVE IN YOUR RECITAL COSTUME! Gymnastics students will practice barefoot • If you’re late-‐ you will miss valuable stage time. We will not be able to wait for you • Check-‐in at the ILD! table and take a seat in the lobby. Your class will be called and an ILD! instructor will escort performers to the stage. You may not enter the auditorium -‐
don’t spoil the surprise! There will be a seating area outside the auditorium for parents to wait during your performer’s rehearsal • Please make sure all balances are paid and your dancer has USED THE RESTROOM. If you have a balance, you will not be permitted into the auditorium • Any costumes that needed altering or adjusting and/or late orders can be picked up at the rehearsal • It is EXTREMELY important you come to this rehearsal-‐especially tots and preschool performers. It’s the only chance before the big show for them to see the stage, lights, backstage and get used to their surroundings • Please check your tights and shoes to ensure they are in good condition and fit properly. If you look on the home page of www.ilovedanceatlanta.com under ‘recital supplies’ you can order recital tights. All FEMALE dancers need pink dance tights and all K & Up dancers need the TRANSITION tight since jazz dance or contemporary is performed barefoot Saturday, May 3oth Instructions (Recital Day) •
