The Informatica® Ultra Messaging® Desktop Services Option is intended for these
applications and extends Ultra Messaging functionality to desktop applications throughout
the enterprise.
This option enables desktop applications to send and receive topic-based messages using
a client/server model. The client-side API allows desktop applications to send and receive
messages to and from the server. The server uses topic interest to route these messages
among clients, other Informatica Ultra Messaging Desktop Services servers, and the
Informatica Ultra Messaging architecture.
With the Desktop Services Option, your IT organization can quickly and easily implement
Informatica Ultra Messaging functionality across desktop applications to boost efficiency
