Dear Ipso Facto member, Studyweeks always seem to be the only quiet times every now and then. Still, a lot is
going on! For example, did you know that an Ipso team has been running the
Batavierenrace past weekend? They did, and check their (unofficial) results out here! It is
however time to stop procrastinating by reading this newsletter and start studying. We
as a board believe that every single one of you can kick some exam ass! Good luck!

The AID is coming and we are looking for enthusiastic people who would
like to help us on the study day!
Is it something for you?
­ Are you available on August 17th?
­ Can you lead around 10 freshman a whole day (remember, they are going to
ask stupid questions)?
­ Do you like to have a good time?
­ Do you think you can handle all the fun activities we are going to plan?
­ Do you like a free BBQ?
­ Are you willing to meet two times so we can discuss how to make this day the
best possible?

Other Activities Young KLV ­ Workshop YEP Water and Agrofood traineeships
Heb jij een passie voor water en zou je graag op internationale projecten aan de
slag gaan? Dan is het Young Expert Programme (YEP) Water iets voor jou! YEP
Water biedt young professionals de kans om voor 1 of 2 jaar op internationale
projecten van de Nederlandse watersector ingezet te worden. YEP Water biedt je een intensieve voorbereidende training, begeleiding via een
coach tijdens je uitzending, een terugkeertraining na 1 jaar uitzending, master
classes en nog veel meer! Als potentiële Young Expert heb je een afgeronde relevante HBO­ of WO­opleiding
en maximaal 4 jaar relevante werkervaring. Naast YEP Water volgt binnenkort
mogelijk een uitbreiding richting de agrofood­sector!
Al ruim 100 Young Experts gingen je voor en maken een vliegende start met hun
internationale carrière. Ook iets voor jou? Kom dan naar de speakers corner in
Impulse om nog meer te weten te komen over het Young Expert Programme en
wie weet werk jij binnenkort ook in het buitenland aan uitdagende projecten! Meer

This summer (2015), two different student tours (3 ECTS) through Southern
Africa will be organised again. One tour covers South Africa and Swaziland, the
second Botswana and Zimbabwe. The tours are 21 days each, but the
Botswana/Zimbabwe tour can be extended up to 26 days. If you are interested in

will guide a group of around 15
international students together
with 1 or 2 other Buddies during
the Summer AID (14th-19th of

The Board consists in total of 8 members: 4 professors, 4 students. One student place is vacant per June 1, 2015. The OWI board composition is a
mirror image of the WU community with regard to the domains of the study
programmes and gender composition of the student population. Therefore we
