PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION
CAREFULLY AS IT PERTAINS TO TIMELY AND
IMPORTANT TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

Players, Coaches, Fans, Family & Friends:
It is our pleasure to host the Jayhawk Invitational for the 18th consecutive year!
Teams are participating from all over the country and feature some very
prominent high school basketball student athletes.
Many of our alumni are currently playing at all levels of College across the
country and some are also playing in the NBA…
We hope you enjoy your stay in Kansas and THANK YOU for participating in the
2015 Jayhawk Invitational.

Packet Pick Up:
Packet pick up and check in for 11U - 17U will be at Drive 5 Sports
Center, 12140 W 135th Street, Overland Park, KS 66221 starting at 2
pm on Friday May 1. All teams must check in at Drive 5 prior to their
first game.
Rosters 15, 16 & 17U only:
In order to make sure that the many college evaluators attending our
event have access to player names, jersey numbers and name of
High School we are requiring that you leave 2 typed rosters of your
team at the scorers table each game. Please make 10 or 12 copies
and keep them with you so you can leave 2 each time you play. This
will be very important to those looking to get the most exposure &
visibility throughout the tournament for their players & team.
Game Scores & Bracket Updates:
All tournament game scores and brackets will be updated on
jayhawkinvitational.com as scores are called in to our headquarters.
This will allow you to get “real time” updated scores to track division
results, location of next game and opponent. (format is smart phone
friendly)
Schedule:
The tournament schedule is posted on jayhawkinvitational.com
Please make sure you check the schedule frequently and especially
prior to your games for any changes or adjustments that may have
been made. You are responsible for knowing where to go and when.
Gym Locations:
All gym addresses including maps are listed on
jayhawkinvitational.com
Clock & Book Keepers:
All teams in the 11 – 14U divisions are responsible to provide one
volunteer each game to keep either the official score book or run the
game clock.
Game Balls:
All divisions except 11U & 12U will use the regulation boys high
school size basketball. The 11U & 12U division will use the 28.5 ball
unless both coaches agree otherwise.
Admissions:
Teams:
Each team in the 11 - 17U division will receive 3 coaches passes. All
coaches must check in at Drive 5 to get their coaches passes.
Coaches in the 15U - 17U divisions will receive their passes at check
in. If you do not have your wristband on at the time of your game you
will be required to pay admission. Players will be admitted with
uniform.
Admission fees for all others (fans, family, friends etc.):
All locations (11U-17U)
Friday: $8
Saturday: $10
Sunday: $10
Tournament Pass: $25
Under 5: Free
Wristbands must be worn at all times to gain admittance.
Game Rules:Game rules are posted on the scorers table of
each court.
NCAA Division I Officiating Camp:
The jayhawk Invitational is proud to be partnered with this
incredible officials camp… Organized & run by Larry Lady, a
former NAIA/NCAA Official & NAIA Hall of Fame member,
Lady is NAIA National Coordinator of Officials & Evaluator of
Officials for the Big 12 Conference. This years tournament
will be “called” by college officials that are currently working
DI or aspire to make it to the Division I level over the next
few years.
Tournament Shirts:

Jayhawk Invitational T-shirts are available at New Century Field
House and Desoto High School for $15. We have a limited supply
and they will go quickly.
