New to Art in the Park - accessible performance areas. Be part of the action
with our more intimate performance areas found throughout the park during Canada Day. We are
looking for performers and solos or duets who will entertain in various areas of the park (no Busking for
cash allowed, but you may sell CD’s or approved product and an honorarium may be paid).
We will have a grass stage for dancers and theatrical performances with access to electricity and a sound
system, but all other musicians must provide their own system if required. Please let us know if you
require electricity (unplugged is preferred).

DETAILS:
 Performer applications will go through a selection process. The number of performers
chosen is dependent upon the amount of submissions received.
 Honorariums may be given and if applicable will be paid at the end of the day. Please
indicate what name should appear on the cheque:

 Performers will be required to perform for 1 to 1.5 hours during the day
(Please allow 10 minutes to set up, 10 minutes to strike)
 If you plan to sell paraphernalia, you must ensure you will have additional assistance at the
sales table and your own float, set up etc. (if applicable) during performance times.
 Art in the Park is held from 9am to 5pm. Performers will be scheduled at the discretion of
the Kamloops Arts Council; however, please let the KAC know what would be the most
convenient time for you to perform. We will try our best to accommodate your request.
