Update on meeting schedule (12 June 2015)
Dr. Dayton's new concept of bunion correction is being universally accepted. His recent
publications in JACFAS are testament. Dr. Landry was an ACFAS judge of posters in
Phoenix and his on bunion surgery was first place.
Dr. Brian Fullem spoke at the SAM meeting. He's the next best to Amol Saxena in caring
for athletes from Clearwater, Florida.
Dr. Josh White will cover DME, AFO's, shoes, etc. His guide for bracing care was used
by our association's 2011 meeting in Lawrence. Now we get the real deal updated.
Dan Lorenz, RPT, is a local therapist who formerly was with the Chiefs. He has
completed numerous publications on rehabilitation of sports injuries
Saturday "surgical session" will have a panel both in the morning and afternoon and
cover controversy, unusual cases and where we are.
Sponsorship talks close to being finalized: Jublia or Kerydin will be covering the
dimishing return of laser vs. other treatments. Tenex appears to be the latest invasive
treatment to replace Topaz and their speaker to be confirmed next week.
Sunday will focus on ICD-10, Coding, and practice issues. Our KPMA Meeting will
address our strategy for the 2016 Kansas Legislative Session.
Our profession is on a liminal (anthropology term) threshold regarding the education and
integration with other medical professionals. Technology and medicine are moving along
with critical mass.

state meeting! The meeting starts early on Friday morning and will
continue through Sunday morning. Mark your calendars and be there to
