How to configure DATECS DP05
Bluetooth Fiscal Printer

Installation steps to follow for Datecs DP-05 Bluetooth
Fiscal Printer:
1. Printer Setup:

Turn on the printer. Use arrows to select “Setup”or press 4;
Insert password “30”. Select “Total”;
Use arrows to go to “Configuration” and select “Total”; or press 9;
Use arrows to go to “Communication” and select “Total”; or press 5;
Use arrows to go to “Bluetooth” and select “Total”; or press 3;
Use arrows to go to “Pair delete” and select “Total”; or press 2;
Use arrows to go to “Pair PC” and select “Total”; or press 3;
Now the printer is waiting for a pairing request from the tablet.
2. Tablet Setup:
Please note that the tablet needs to have the Bluetooth turned on.
Go to Breeze on your tablet  log in using a manager or admin password.
Press menu
and then press the “More” button which would lead you to a
new window having more buttons.
Press the “BLUETOOTH SCAN” button. Wait for the window showing the
found devices, select the printer and press
.
The tablet sends a pairing request to the printer.
The printer asks you to enter a PIN number.
Insert the above PIN number on your tablet when it is prompted.

After the successful pairing, please choose the configuration type:
 Local: the printer is locally attached to the tablet. The fiscal printer will
print only from the connected tablet;
 Print server: the tablet becomes print server for the fiscal printer. If
multiple tablets exist locally, these are able to print using the current
fiscal printer. (the print server tablet must be turned on so as the other
tablets to be able to print)
3. Put the Fiscal Printer on PC working mode
Press TotalTotalPowerPowerPowerPower in order to go to the main
MENU.
Use the arrows to go to “PC Connection” field and press “Total”, or press 6.
4. Functionality Checking (executed on the tablet)
Go to “Menu”  ”More”, execute the “X” report.
If more than 24 hours from the last “Z” report passed, execute the “Z” report.
If the report is not printed, kill the Breeze app, open it again and execute step 4.
If issues persist, follow the procedure again.
