CLASS 1. Grass Roots. Team and Individual. Teams may be mixed juniors and seniors.
Dressage test: BRC HT 80Q (2013)
SJ: not to exceed 70 cms
XC: not to exceed 70 cms
Open to any members of Area 7 Riding Clubs who have not competed at:
BE affiliated
BRC Championship level
And
Not to have been placed at Area level in Horse Trials.
NB. This is an Area event only and does not qualify for any BRC Championship
CLASS 2. BRC 80 QUALIFIER. JUNIOR AND SENIOR. TEAMS AND INDIVIDUALS.

SJ: 80cm
XC: 80cm
Eligibility
BE: Nil. Riders must not have completed a BE 100, BRC 100mor BRC Ch 100 or above in the previous or current
calendar year at close of Prelim Entry. Not to have competed at International 3 star or above. Horses may be currently
registered with BE but must not have been placed in the top 6 at BE 90 or completed at BE 100 or above in the current
or previous calendar year at close of Prelim Entry.
Combinations not to have been placed in the top 10 overall in the BRC HT 90 or above in the previous calendar year
Horses must be 5 years old minimum.
CLASS 3. BRC 90 QUALIFIER. Juniors and seniors. Teams and individuals.
Dressage test: BRC HT90 Q (2013)
SJ: 90cm
XC: 90cm.
Eligibility.
BE: 1 point.
Riders not to have competed at International 3 star or above. Horses may be currently registered with BE but must not
have completed at BE/EI 100 or above in the current or previous calendar year at close of Prelim Entry.
Combinations not to have been placed in the top 10 overall in the BRC HT 100 or above in the previous calendar year
Horses must be 5 years old minimum.
CLASS 4. BRC 100 QUALIFIER. JUNIOR AND SENIOR. TEAM AND INDIVIDUALS.

XC: 100cm.
Eligibility. NB please note differences in eligibility for junior and senior.
BE: JUNIORS BE 20 points. SENIORS 5 BE points
Horses may be currently registered with BE but must not have completed at BE Novice or above in the current or
previous calendar year at close of Prelim Entry.
Combinations not to have been placed in the top 10 overall in the BRC HT Open 100+ in the previous calendar year
Horses must be 5 years old minimum.
CLASS 5. BRC 100+ SENIORS AND JUNIORS (MUST BE 12 years old or over on 1 st January in the year they wish to take
part in the Open 100+

SJ: 1.10cm
XC: 1m.
Eligibility.
BE: Unlimited.
Horses must be 5 years old minimum.

RULES.
1. All classes will be run under British Riding Clubs current Rulebook. This is available on-line at
www.britishridingclubs.co.uk
2. Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times
3. Everything reasonably practical is done to ensure health, safety and welfare of those attending the event. Please
obey any instructions from officials at all times.
4. Horses can be easily frightened and can be dangerous. All attending the event are requested to keep clear from
horse areas/lanes and avoid behaviour which may alarm horses.
Terms & Conditions
1) It is a condition of entry that each competitor has read, understood and agreed to abide by these rules.
2) The organizers, and all persons connected with the event, accept no liability for any accident, damage, illness or
loss of, or to, any horse, rider, spectator or any other persons or property whatsoever.
3) No entry will be accepted without the correct remittance.
4) In the case of adverse weather conditions, it is the responsibility of the entrant to enquire if the event is
postponed or cancelled.
5) Any competitor jumping any fence outside of the jumping arenas, other than the allocated practice fence will be
disqualified.
6) The organizers reserve the right to refuse or refund entries.
7) Any objection must be lodged at the secretary’s box within 15 minutes of the end of the class, with a deposit of
£10. The panel’s decision is final. If the objection is over-ruled, the deposit is not refundable.
8) All competitors MUST, when mounted, wear riding hats to the current BSEN1384 or PAS015 minimum standard,
fitted with a 3-point harness. Hats must NOT have fixed peaks. Penalty for not obeying this rule is elimination. Hair
must not reach below the collar.
9) No galloping is permitted outside arena(s) or off the course.
10) Competitors eliminated or retiring must leave the course at a walk and may not jump after retiring.
11) FOR CROSS COUNTRY ALL COMPETITORS MUST WEAR BACK PROTECTORS.
12) Dogs must be kept on leads and under control at all times, unless securely left inside vehicles. Remember dogs
will die if left in hot cars
14) Photographer attending, if you do not wish your child to be photographed, please notify the Secretary upon
entry. Stopwatches or mobile telephones are not permitted on the course.
15) Chin straps and back protectors must be worn at ALL times when mounted. Medical armbands are to be worn..
Hats must NOT have fixed peaks and hair must be worn above the collar
