MINISTRY OPPORTUNITIES &
CHURCH EVENTS
As a church family we
need to pray together
more. We need to see the
importance of prayer
deeper in the life of our
church. We have brought
prayer time into the evening service by concluding
each service with a time of
prayer. Today and next
week I am speaking on
prayer and I hope you will
be inspired to pray more
and even join your church
family on Sunday evenings
at 6pm for the prayer service.

Your meeting is next week at
4:15pm.
VBS - “CAMP KILIMANJARO”
Camp Kilimanjaro will take the kids on an
epic expedition through the book of
Proverbs. Many volunteers are needed to
make this community event successful. Please sign up at
the Welcome Center. VBS is July 6th-10th from 9amnoon. Supplies needed for crafts: toilet paper rolls,
green soft drink bottles (empty), yarn and/or
string, butter tubs, heavy duty paper bowls and/or
paper plates. Donated items can be placed in the box
at the Welcome Center.
SUMMER LADIES SMALL GROUP
Ladies the Wednesday morning summer
small group will begin this Wednesday
morning, the 3rd @ 9am to 11am. You’ll be
going through a 5 week study by Priscilla
Shirer entitled “Breathe”. Child care will be provided. Sign up
online or at the Welcome Center.
WEDNESDAY NIGHT GROUP STUDY
On June 3rd at 6pm our Summer Group will
begin. We’ll go through the book of Jude
together led by Pastor Ray. This is a small
book with a powerful current message. There will be
children’s activities as well.
HOMECOMING 2015
June 14th
Join us on Sunday, June 14th, as we
celebrate our 34th anniversary as a church.
We will have only 1 service at 10:30am
followed by a “carry in” dinner. The church
will supply the Bar-B-Q and each family needs to bring
side dishes, desserts and drinks. There will not be an
evening service.
Next Sunday night we
have our annual promotion Sunday Cookout, welcoming all new
7th graders & their
families. All current Student &
families as well.
We leave for
middle School
camp next Monday the 8th
from the church at 9am. Make
sure you have your notarized
form turned in or with you!!
(a short meeting will take place
at our cook-out)

TORCHLIGHTER’S ACTIVITIES
The Torchlighters is our 50+ ministry here at
Lighthouse. We have an activity coming up on July
17th. We are going to the Arts Center of Cannon County for
dinner and a play. Dinner is $9.95 per person (dinner is
optional) and group rate for he play is $12. We will be seeing
“Bring it On.” Sign up begins on June 14th.

“THE JOURNEY” SMALL GROUP
Life truly is a journey-don’t take it
alone! Come join us as we “press
toward the mark of the high
calling of Jesus Christ.” This small
group is for college age & young
singles. We meet Sunday evenings at
6:15pm in room 209. Let’s do life together!
LIGHTHOUSE 101 CLASS
This class is designed to give new families
time with Bro. Ray & Karen. In 4 sessions
you will discover more about Lighthouse
than you would in a year sitting in the services.
This class meets at 9:45 am in Bro. Ray’s office.
