Job Description: Business Development Director
General Position Description:
LCM Global Partners LLC is seeking a qualified Business Development Director for its sales team. The Business
Development Director is a full-time position reporting to the firm’s Managing Director. The position will be based in
LCM’s Dallas, TX based office at Old Parkland. The primary responsibility of the role is to generate and maintain existing
investor relationships for the firm’s alternative investment solutions. LCM’s primary clients are investment advisors, but
the firm also maintains direct relationships with high net worth and institutional clients. The candidate must be
comfortable initiating outbound calls to new potential investor relationships and scheduling in person introductory
meetings on a routine basis. Consistent and process driven follow-up is essential for the candidate to be successful in
generating new business. Maintaining and growing existing investor relationships is also part of the role. Travel is
required and the candidate can expect to be out of the office at least two weeks per month.
There is a high expectation for this role as the firm is seeking to rapidly grow its client base, particularly in the liquid
alternatives arena. The upside opportunity is compelling, but only highly-disciplined candidates with a strong work ethic
should apply. The Business Development Director should possess entrepreneurial drive and work well in a collaborative
team setting. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong
written and verbal communication, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize parallel tasks.

Job Responsibilities:



Responsible for creating and maintaining advisor and other direct investor relationships.
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of alternative investment products, their value proposition, and their role
in investment portfolios. This includes knowledge and experience with hedge funds, risk-managed ETF
portfolios and other assets focused on downside risk protection.
Execute effective marketing campaigns to drive sales within specific territories




Effectively communicate the value proposition and product positioning of alternative investment products
both orally and in writing. This will include preparing routine and bespoke informational materials in
compliance with the firm’s regulatory requirements.
Identify new sales opportunities and manage a pipeline of new sales leads.
Initiate outbound calls and other communication with the objective to schedule in-person meetings. The sales
cycle is highly consultative and requires face-to-face interaction and rigorous follow-up to generate new
business.
Utilize a detailed and process-driven approach to managing the sales cycle from lead generation to account
closure. The firm currently utilizes Salesforce and the candidate will be expected to integrate their sales
process with that platform.
Qualifications:
We are seeking candidates that have no less than 5 years successful experience in a sales related role in the financial
services industry. While previous alternative asset sales experience is preferred and will weigh heavily in the
consideration of the position, it is not required. The candidate must have received at minimum a Bachelor’s degree with
a major in business, finance, or other relevant degree from an accredited institution. FINRA Series 65 license preferred
but not required. The candidate must be self-motivated, willing to travel, and work collaboratively in an entrepreneurial
environment. The candidate must maintain proficiency in Powerpoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.
Compensation:
The compensation package will include a base salary and incentive bonus. The compensation package is competitive and
will be closely tied with new asset growth and existing asset retention. Depending on the level of experience and
background, compensation offers will vary. Corporate Profit Sharing Plan is available based on the Firm’s success. Health
