IMPORTANT NOTES
Classes 1 & 2, the procession route is comprised of narrow streets and tight corners; it is not
suitable for very long vehicles. Can you please bear this in mind as we reserve the right to
turn away your entry. Can you also indicate the type of your vehicle and number?
If your vehicle is entered into the procession purely for advertising purposes we retain the
right to levy a charge of £25.00 per vehicle
All classes – the Bower is a fun day, in view of this no entries can be accepted from political
parties or pressure groups of any kind. The Bower Committee reserves the right to refuse any
entry that may be considered controversial or objectionable.
Please note – no water fights. Can you also be aware that all monies collected belong to the
Bower Committee, a separate form is available for collectors – application form can be
requested with your procession entry form.
Please ensure that everyone from your float disembarks onto the pavement NOT onto the
road.

sustained as a result of any person’s participation in the procession.
