CONTEST OPEN TO ALL WHO LIVE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: Artesia, Bellflower, Belmont Shores, Carson, Cerritos,
Compton, Downey, Gardena (East of the Harbor Fwy), Harbor City, Lakewood, Lomita, Long Beach, Lynwood, Naples, Paramount,
Rancho Palos Verdes (not Palos Verdes), Rolling Hills, San Pedro, Signal Hill, and Wilmington
AGE REQUIREMENTS: All Contestants must be 21 years of age or older by April 18, 2015. A copy of a valid Driver’s License or
California ID must be attached to the Application.
SCORING: Contestants will be scored on Casual/Sportswear, Formal Wear, Presentation and Question/Answer as well as the
amount of money raised during your campaign.

MR., MISS. & MS. Long Beach Gay Pride Contest Rules
This is a fundraising contest produced by the International Imperial Court of Long Beach Inc. and its Titles are not
associated with Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride, Inc. Net proceeds raised from this contest go towards the
“United Waves of Long Beach Scholarship Fund.”
CONTEST OPEN TO ALL WHO LIVE IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS: Artesia, Bellflower, Belmont Shores, Carson, Cerritos,
Compton, Downey, Gardena (East of the Harbor Fwy), Harbor City, Lakewood, Lomita, Long Beach, Lynwood, Naples, Paramount,
Rancho Palos Verdes, Rolling Hills, San Pedro, Signal Hill, and Wilmington.

CONTEST SCORING: Winners will be selected based on the following.
Presentation –
a. Contestants will be scored on Casual/Sportswear and Formal Wear categories and will participate in a Question/Answer session.
Each category will have a total of 10 points
Online Sponsorship –
a. Each contestant will be provided an individual webpage and link to direct people to support them by making an online donation.
b. Applications received after April 16, 2015 will not receive an online webpage link, but are still eligible to enter contest per Offline
Sponsorship rules.
c. The Dollar amount raised online will be added to the overall final presentation score to declare the winner.
Offline Sponsorship a. The Reigning Monarch must be provided with all details and advertising materials for review prior to any offline event.
b. Any money raised from event must be reported to Reigning Monarch no more than 2 days after the event or uploaded to your
online sponsorship page. ABSOLUTELY NO CHECKS ACCEPTED _________
c. The majority of all cash must be turned in no later than May 7, 2015 (Location/Time TBA). Money raised after must be turned in
prior to the start of the contest on May 9, 2015.
d. The IICLB, Inc. is not responsible for actions by contestants who choose to produce events outside of the online donations page
e. Contestants are liable for any money raised for the purpose of winning this contest.
f. Contestants shall not use the name International Imperial Court of Long Beach Incorporated and any form
thereof for collecting money for personal gain. This type of action is a violation and prosecutable.
WINNERS:
a. Winners will each receive a Crown, Sash and two (2) tickets to the Pride Festival
b. Will be required to sign a waiver in order to participate in the Long Beach Gay Pride Parade
c. Will be required to wear formal attire and crown associated with my title for the parade
d. The Board of Directors of the IICLB has the right to remove my title at their discretion if they feel I have
misrepresented the title in any way.
e. Must produce a fund-raiser to benefit a charity approved by the IICLB Board of Directors within 2 months
should I win the title of Mr., Miss., & Ms. Long Beach Gay Pride. Otherwise, title is subject to being removed.
f. As a Contestant and/or Winner, my picture will be taken and used for public viewing.
g. Winners will be required to make appearances selected by the Reigning Emperor & Empress and/or BOD of
the IICLB Inc. (Including but not limited to the Mayors Reception and IICLB Coronation)
h. Receive one year’s membership in the IICLB, Inc.
DISCLAIMER: The IICLB, Inc. is not liable for any actions by contestants that misuse, misrepresent the organizations name and any theft, misuse,
misrepresentation associated with money collected and not turned in and verified by both the contestant and designated member of the IICLB, Inc. These actions are
punishable by law and will be handled accordingly. The IICLB, Inc. BOD also has the right to refuse a contestants application and/or disqualify a contestant for any
reason by majority vote.
