King City Invitational Track Meet

The 71th King City Invitational Track Meet will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at
King City High School on our Nine Lane All Weather Track and Field Event Areas;
which includes a new pole vault venue!
Custom medals will be awarded for 1st – 5th place. Trophies will be awarded to the top
two teams in each division and there will be three high point awards. There are three
divisions: varsity boys, varsity girls and frosh-soph boys. Entry limit is three athletes per
event.
Starters will be from the Central Coast Section Officials Association. Fees are $5 per
event and $10 per relay team. Maximum fee for team is $275. Register at
www.athletic.net. All entries must be received no later than Tuesday, April 28, 2015 by
7:00 P.M. Make checks payable to Mustang Bench King City Track. Mail to Mustang
Bench, King City Invitational, P.O. Box 410, King City CA 93930. In the case of a
rainout, the meet will not be rescheduled and all fees will be returned.
The stadium will be open at 8:00 a.m. The meet begins at 9:30 a.m. The time schedule
of events is included with this flyer.
In order to keep the meet within reasonable time and safety standards the following will
apply:
1.
Announcers will notify athletes when they need to check in. It is the
athlete’s responsibility to report at that time. Runners report to the Clerk of
the Course who is stationed near the shot put area.
2.
There is a three-athlete limit per school, per event.
3.
Athletes can only compete in one division.
A complimentary lunch will be provided for coaches only. There will be a snack bar at
the track. There are also various food establishments near the school for athletes and
others.
