Dear Friends!
The mission of the
Macomb/St. Clair
County Chapter of
the Autism
Society of
America is to
enhance the lives
of persons and
families affected
by Autism.
To accomplish
this, resources will
be used to
promote
awareness.
The Macomb/St.Clair County Affiliate of the Autism Society is hosting
its 10th annual “Out & About Autism”, a 5k Run/5k Walk for Autism
Awareness. The walk is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2015 at
Stony Creek Metro Park.
We would love to have you join us, as a “resource” participant, the day
of the event!
You will be able to set up a table with your organization’s information
and possibly provide a “treat” or “activity” for the walk participants.
Volunteers and the run/walk committee will be at Stony Creek at 7am
to set up, and we would like to have you arrive before 8:30 am. The
run/walk begins at 9:30am.
There is NO CHARGE for this opportunity, although you will have to
bring your OWN table and “tent” for your area! The run/walk will
proceed as planned, RAIN OR SHINE, so we need to be prepared for
the elements. We also would like to know if you are attending ahead
of time, to make arrangements. Furthermore, if you would like to
consider being a “t-shirt” sponsor, it is not too late! Your logo/name can
be displayed on the back of the t-shirt for $250 minimum donation.
