Mayor Steve Rigdon and the City of Baxley invite you to enjoy a scenic walk/run
through the small town of Baxley on the morning of our annual Baxley Tree Fest. The
walk/run is a great way to start your day filled with festival activities and entertainment.
All entries will receive one ticket to the Annual Boy Scout Troop 472 Pancake Breakfast
held across from the finish line. Additional pancake breakfast tickets may be purchased
at the door for $5. Pancake breakfast hours are from 7:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. You’ll be able
walk/run and then refuel with a delicious breakfast!
TIME: Race Day Registration 7:00 a.m., 1 Mile Fun Run 8:00 a.m., 5K 8:30 a.m.
 Preregistration available at the Baxley-Appling County Chamber of Commerce,
305 W Parker St, Baxley, GA 31513 and active.com through 5:00 p.m. Thursday,
April 16, 2015.

ENTRY FEE: $15.00 All ages

with entry fee.

This activity may include risks such as, but not limited to, falls, interaction with other participants, effects of weather, traffic & conditions of the road. By participating in this
event, I hereby expressly assume all risks, including personal injury & death, arising in any way out of my participation in the Walk/Run. I am solely responsible for my own
health and safety. I represent & warrant that I am physically fit and able to participate in this event and agree to stop and request assistance if I experience any symptoms such as,
but not limited to dizziness, excessive fatigue, shortness of breath, pain or any other conditions which would make it difficult or unsafe to continue. I agree, for myself, my heirs,
executors and administrators, to not sue and to release, indemnify, & hold harmless City of Baxley and Baxley-Appling County Chamber of Commerce, directors, volunteers,
employees, & all sponsoring businesses & organizations and their agents and employees, from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever, arising out
of participation in these events and related activities--whether it results from the negligence of any of the above or from any other cause. This release & indemnification agreement
shall be as broad and inclusive as permitted by the State of Georgia. If any portion of it is invalid, the balance shall continue in full force and effect. In addition, I grant permission
