Center for Digital Transformation to Advise CNS Summit on Digital Transformation in the
Pharmaceutical Industry
SAN DIEGO, June 15, 2015 – Today, the Center for Digital Transformation (CDT) at the Paul Merage
School of Business, University of California, Irvine, announced that they will be advising the CNS
Summit on digital transformation as it relates to the pharmaceutical industry. CNS Summit is focused on
the future of drug development, and this partnering will enable CNS Summit participants to leverage the
experience of other industries in transforming their business models to adapt to the digital economy.
“Our center is focused on helping companies across a wide variety of industries transform their
businesses in the light of the approaching digital 'tsunami',” says Dr. Vijay Gurbaxani, Founding Director
of the Center for Digital Transformation (CDT) at the UCI Merage School. “We are pleased to partner
with CNS Summit to bring these insights to the pharmaceutical industry.”

Dr. Vijay Gurbaxani will also be participating in the Keynote Panel at CNS Summit 2015 on "What will
be the Impact of Silicon Valley on Drug Development" on October 9th, 2015.
