rifle – a decisive factor in ensuring pinpoint accuracy throughout the hunting season.‰
• The polycarbonate tip improves the ballistic coefficient of the XP3TM by almost 15%.
• The streamlined boattail improves flight and guarantees a perfectly stable trajectory, even over very long ranges.Š
• The Winchester Lubalox® coating has two major benefits:
ß reduced engraving force resulting in increased speed and stability;
ß less copper fouling in the barrel resulting in improved accuracy.
Power & Penetration :
The XP3TM has revolutionary technology guarantees outstanding power and maximum penetration. As the lead core is
bonded to the jacket, the XP3TM expands in a controlled manner with no fragmentation.‹
This results in excellent weight retention and high impact strength, essential conditions when tackling tough game such as
large stag and boar. Maximum performance guaranteed.
The XP3TM stands out from other bullets currently on the market thanks to its two-stage expansion, generated in particular
by its H-structure Œ:
• stage 1 : formation of four distinct petals on the leading part of the bullet. These four extremely sharp petals remain
fully intact with the rest of the projectile to stimulate rapid haemorrhaging and ensure perforation of the animal.
• stage 2 : bulging of the trailing part of the bullet for a double effect:
ß it increases the knockdown capacity of the XP3TM and delivers maximum energy and power to stop game
in its tracks;
ß it acts as a support to the four petals formed on the leading edge of the bullet and reinforces their action.
The XP3TM retains a constant, uniform action, even when shooting dense game.
