NEWS LETTER SUMMER 2013
Dear Parents
Our next performance will be the Milford Fete on Saturday 8 June.
Ballet students will be needed for a rehearsal at the Pirrie Hall from 10 – 12am. There will be no Ballet classes
on this morning due to the rehearsals. Children in the Babies Classes do not need to attend this rehearsal.
Please arrive at the church hall next to the Jubilee Field at 1pm for a Performance at 2pm. Children under 5
years must be accompanied during this preparation time. Please bring all ballet and character clothes plus a
hairbrush with you on the day.
Musical Theatre Students need to arrive at the church hall next to the Jubilee Field at 2.30pm.

- Girls traditional Victorian style party dress, white socks and school shoes
- Boys School trousers, shirt with a collar, school shoes and socks
- Purple Leotards, flesh coloured fishnet tights (Primark) school/character shoes
Please bring a hairbrush.
Any parents who are available to help with hair and costumes in the changing rooms would be appreciated.
No tickets will be sold for this performance however a £5 per family inclusion fee is required to cover the
costs of hall hire, costumes and performance licenses.
Please let me know as soon as you can if you CANNOT attend so that I can adjust choreography and
costumes.

I have been meaning to get round to this since I started! Please do use it to refer new parents and also all
letters that come to you in paper form should be backed up by following the links at the bottom of the page.
NEXT TERM
As some of you may already be aware big changes are afoot in the Bradbury Household as my husband Jon has
to move to Beijing for 2 years starting in September. Lottie and I will be joining him in November.
However ALL DANCE CLASSES WILL CONTINUE in my absence.
Miss Katherine Sweetland who currently teaches the tap classes will take on the Musical Theatre classes.
I am currently in the process of interviewing teachers for the Ballet Classes. I have a strong shortlist and hope
to announce the new teacher soon. In the first half of the Autumn term we will teach the classes together to
ease the transition for the students. As my boys will be in boarding school here I will be coming back at the
beginning and end of each term.
Samantha Davidson will be taking over the administration so I expect the letters to improve considerably!
I will be returning in the summer of 2015.
