CONTENTS
Hello Fraternal Brothers;
Inside this Issue
My first year as Lodge Governor is now completed. It has been an eye opening
experience for me to take on this responsibility. Our Lodge is well respected in the
Moose organization. This is largely due to dedication and sacrifice by the Board of
Officers and the due diligence of the Lodge Administrator. Once again your lodge
received the 5-Star award that is only accomplished by fulfilling many, many
requirements. Thanks, Rich, for a job well done.

Last month I attended the
Mid-Year conference in Reno. The theme of the
conference was “Back to Basics.” (What can we do better to recruit new members, and,
more importantly, retain our current membership?). I have previously expressed some
ideas: What do you think? Why did you join? How can we grow our fraternity? What
would you like to see in the 2015-2016 year? Please let your Board of Officers know.
If you haven’t been to your Lodge lately, we have made some improvements and
changes to the appearance to the interior, so please come in and check it out. We have
even more plans. And, again as always, the success of this lodge is only attributed to the
dedication of you volunteers. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
Fraternally, Dan Lovett, Governor

As your new Senior Regent I would like to thank Joyce Hayes, Marie Wooten, and Barbie Fields for our
installation. I look forward to serving as your Senior Regent this coming year; I also look forward to working
with the LOOM for the betterment of our lodge. Thank you to all who participated and attended the installation
on 04/18/15. I encourage our members to get involved in their lodge and volunteer.

Senior Regent
Junior Past Regent
I thank the LOOM for their continued support of our chapter over these last six months. It has been my pleasure
to serve as Senior Regent. Thank you to the chapter’s board of officers for all of their continued support and
assistance. Thank you to the members who participated in the WOTM fundraisers and dinners. The support our
chapter has received from all has been a humbling experience that will be fondly remembered in my heart
always. I would like to give a special thank you to Joyce Hayes, Marie Wooten, and Barbie Fields for the
beautiful installation. It reminded me of back in the day, you all were inspiring and I will forever be grateful.
I encourage all members to get involved it may be something simple that you can do such as donate an item for
raffle. I ask that you please support this new board of officers over the next year as you have supported the
outgoing board of officers over the last six months.
I am grateful for all who assisted me with my benefit for Matt Thomas on 04/11/15. We were blessed to raise
$726.00 to go towards a wheelchair van for him. I am blessed and honored to have served such a wonderful
group of women.
Fraternally,
Sheila Miranda,
Junior Grad Regent
