Pre-School and Snowplow Sam levels - Helmets are
strongly recommended. Please make sure the skaters name
is on the front of the helmet.
Pre-School, Snowplow Sam 1, Basic 1 & Adult 1 Level Figure skates are recommended. Double runners are not
allowed in classes.
Hockey Classes - Must have passed the Basic 2 level. Skaters
must wear a helmet with full facemask, hockey gloves, elbow
pads, knee pads and hockey skates (no sticks or pucks.)
Hockey Classes 3 & 4 - Must have passed Hockey 2 and full
equipment is recommended (no sticks or pucks).
Private Lessons
Private lessons are available and may be recommended by your group class instructor as a supplement to your class. Ice fees are additional to the cost of
the private lesson. For information, please inquire in the main office.
Cancellations
Classes may be combined, due to a lack of enrollment. Cancellations may occur if registration fails to meet the required number of students. If a class is
cancelled, the arena will attempt to notify participants by telephone prior to the first class meeting. Students will receive a full refund for cancelled
classes.
Credit Policy
Credits will not be issued after the second lesson. Any credits granted must be applied to the next Learn-to-Skate session.
Transfers
There are no transfers within the Learn-to-Skate program. Skaters may not switch days once enrolled for a specific day and time.
Refund Policy
A $25.00 administrative fee will be charged for cancellation and/or refund. An additional fee of $15.00 per class
enrolled will be deducted. Refunds will not be issued after the second lesson. Processing a refund may take up to 6
weeks. Please note that the information you are providing may be available to others under public information access
laws. Payments or ice time are non-transferable.
There are no make-ups for missed classes.
