Please remember to keep
the office updated with
your most current
information. This
includes work, cell, and
home phone numbers, childcare
providers, address changes, etc. In case
of an emergency, we need to be able to

SAFETY NEWS—It is important
Thank you for your support of the Boosterthon! Just
a quick reminder, if your student receives an online
donation, you do not need to write it on the back of
the pledge book. Our PTO volunteers are able to log
online entries automatically so your child will still
be eligible for daily prizes. All Ezra students will be a
part of the Fun Run on April 27th.
for us to be sure that we are always
ready for any kind of emergency at
school. We practiced a tornado drill this
past week, and we practice fire drills
each month. On Friday, April 17th, we
practiced a bus evacuation drill. Bus
drills are a federal and state government
requirement and we are required to have
two per year. We make sure our students
and staff have practiced what to do in
these emergency situations.
Ezra PTO Meeting ~ April 14, 2015
Attendance – 3 staff and 4 parents
Treasury Report – We currently have over $18,000 in the PTO account.
Chair Openings – The PTO is in immediate need of a Co-President and 2 Vice
Presidents for next year, as well as many other positions, which include Ezra U,
World Language, etc… If anyone is interested please contact the PTO at
[email protected].
Boosterthon – The kickoff for the Boosterthon was Wednesday 4/15/15.
Information was sent home with each child, please contact the school if you any
questions.
Carnival – Those present last night at the PTO meeting voted on whether or not to
hold a carnival next year, and the result is that we will not hold one. Due to the lack
of volunteers and the work involved, the decision was made to focus on other PTOsponsored events.
PTO Closet Clean-up – help is needed to organize and clean up the PTO closet, if
interested in helping contact the PTO at [email protected].
Principal Report - The Millard District is holding a “You Give, We Learn”
Technology Drive. Our PTO will be donating $2000 to the drive, which goes toward
the iPads and professional development. Each classroom at Ezra has 5 iPads
available for students and staff to use.
The PTO meetings have had low attendance all year long, and as a result the PTO will
be revamping for the upcoming year. PTO-sponsored events will be looked at
carefully due to the lack of volunteers. Some events may not be held next year.
Thank you to staff and parents who were able to make it to the meeting.
