This is the day that the Lord has made.
Let us rejoice and be glad in it!
Glad songs of victory ring out in the tents of the righteous.
I shall not die, but I shall live, and tell the deeds of the Lord.
The Lord is my strength and my might;
the Lord has become my salvation.
God’s steadfast love endures forever. Alleluia!
Ottorino Respighi
Mark 16:1-7
from Psalm 118
 Processional Hymn No. 302 (stanzas 1-4)
Christ the Lord is Risen Today
Christ the Lord is risen today, Alleluia!
Earth and heaven in chorus say, Alleluia!
Raise your joys and triumphs high, Alleluia!
Sing, ye heavens, and earth reply, Alleluia!
EASTER HYMN
Love's redeeming work is done, Alleluia!
Fought the fight, the battle won, Alleluia!
Death in vain forbids him rise, Alleluia!
Christ has opened paradise, Alleluia!
Lives again our glorious King, Alleluia!
Where, O death, is now thy sting? Alleluia!
Once he died our souls to save, Alleluia!
Where's thy victory, boasting grave? Alleluia!
Soar we now where Christ has led, Alleluia!
Following our exalted Head, Alleluia!
Made like him, like him we rise, Alleluia!
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies, Alleluia!
 The Creed No. 881
 Musical Response No. 308 (stanza 1)
Thine Be the Glory
Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son;
endless is the victory thou o’er death hast won.
Angels in bright raiment rolled the stone away,
kept the folded graveclothes where thy body lay.
The Apostles’ Creed
JUDAS MACCABEUS
Refrain: Thine be the glory, risen, conquering Son;
endless is the victory thou o’er death has won.
Prayer of Confession
Almighty God,
through your only-begotten Son Jesus Christ,
you overcame death and opened to us the gate of eternal life:
Grant that we, who celebrate with joy the Lord's resurrection,
may be raised from the death of sin by your life-giving Spirit;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and forever. Amen.
Words of Assurance
…In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven!
In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven!
Glory to God. Amen.

Christ, your Lord and King, commands!
Shouts of triumph, praise unceasing, “Holy to the Lamb.”
Alleluia, Christ by heaven and earth adored.

Christ, the image; Christ the dawning;
Christ, the first of God’s commands.
All things through him, all things for him,
Stars and all of heaven’s expanse.
Alleluia, light and source and Holy One.
Alleluia, Christ who was and is to come.
Christ, the victim; Christ, the healing;
Love anoints his hands and feet.
