Hurricane Rita left many counties without power and water for days, and for many others, weeks. Eastex Employees Federal Credit Union
would like to thank MeadWestvaco for supplying us with a generator that enabled us to open all three of our branches and restore financial services to
our members. Many thanks to all the mill employees who worked to get the generator hooked up to our building and continued to monitor it until we got
electricity. Special thanks to Cary Bresie, Rod Strong, and Ray Brewster – you and your employees have truly embraced the Credit Union

60 DAY LOAN EXTENSION NOTICE
Due to Hurricane Rita, we know that many of our members have had extraordinary expenses over the last several weeks. Eastex
Employees Federal Credit Union has extended all loans for 60 days. Payroll deductions will continue to come to the Credit Union
and these funds will be deposited into your share (savings) account. Loans paid by automatic transfer will not be paid until your
new loan date. If you do not wish to take advantage of this, please call and we will transfer your payments. Please note that no
payments will automatically pay for 60 days from your last payment before Hurricane Rita. Members’ that were having difficulties
before the storm, please contact Charlee at 276-2525 ext. 415.

Early Withdrawal Penalties On Term Accounts
Member term accounts and non-member term accounts will be subject to early withdrawal penalties amounting to the greater of $25 or loss of
dividends, whether earned or not, on amounts withdrawn that would have accrued over 50% of their remaining terms. Partial withdrawals of original
principle and earned dividends that have been credited to principle are subject to these early withdrawal penalties.
