HELPFUL TIPS & INFORMATION WHEN
MEASURING UP & INSTALLING YOUR WARDROBE
WHEN DECIDING TO INSTALL SLIDING DOORS
PLEASE KEEP THE FOLLOWING TIPS AND INFORMATION IN MIND.
 W
ardrobe sliding doors are normally supplied in pairs (2 doors on double track). This configuration is ideal
for simple design layouts (e.g. Hanging and Shelves) with openings from 1200mm to 2400mm or larger.
 Most wardrobes are 600mm in depth. A two door double track is 76mm wide. This allows approx. 500mm
of clearing hanging space, which will cater for most clothes to hang comfortably.
 An alternative design using a 3 door triple track, will allow you more flexibility with your internal design.
 A 3 door triple track is 115mm wide. Ideally you will require a minimum space of about 500mm for clothes
to hang efficiently.
 A triple track can still be used in a 600mm deep wardrobe, but the hanging space will be slightly reduced.
4 SIMPLE STEPS TO CREATING A NEW LOOK WARDROBE
STEP 1
Check and Measure the existing
daylight opening size. Heights
and Widths.
STEP 2
Choose the style of door you
require. Mirror, White Melamine
or a combination of both.
STEP 3
Top and bottom tracks can be cut
to suit the size of opening.
STEP 4
Angle the door in the back of the
top track, pushing up and back at
the same time. Place door onto the
bottom track. Repeat same for the
front door. Final adjustment can be
made with the adjustment screw on
the back of the door.
