LMS 2015-16 GENERIC SUPPLY LIST
Incoming Sixth Grade Students
One of the most important skills you will learn at the middle school should be to organize your supplies so
that you are ready to work. The following list represents the majority of supplies needed for the school year.
Throughout the year, materials will need to be replenished, and teachers may make requests for new
materials for specific instructional activities. Please mark your supplies with your name, as they are your
responsibility.
General Supplies (these items will be used in all classes)
• combination lock
• loose leaf paper
• zippered binder
• dividers (pocket dividers preferred)
• box of #2 pencils
• pens (blue, red & black)
• highlighter pens
• colored pencils
• glue stick - large
• scissors
• binder hole re-enforcers
• one large eraser
• dry erase Expo markers (one package)
Communication Arts
• 2” three-ring binder with pockets
• 5 dividers for Comm. Arts binder
Math
• basic function calculator
Science
• composition notebook (science journal)
• two glue sticks
Social Studies
• ½” three-ring binder
Physical Education
• white t-shirt and blue shorts
The following items are a donation to the classroom and are for general use throughout the year.
• three large boxes of facial tissues
• Germ-X hand sanitizer
• disinfecting wipes
• roll of paper towels
* OTHER SUPPLIES WILL BE SUGGESTED BY YOUR CHILD’S TEAM IN THE FALL
